Remove Tar and Asphalt from Your Tires

- Rag or old towel
Step 1: Spray your tires with Bitu-Ox™ 400
Whether the asphalt and tar buildup is on the tires or the rims, coat it with Bitu-Ox™ and let it sit. The longer you allow the solution to sit, the better it will work. In just a few seconds, you’ll start to see Bitu-Ox™ begin to liquefy the tar, breaking down the bituminous material and separating it from the aggregate in the asphalt.
Step 2: Wipe away the asphalt and tar
Wipe the asphalt or tar off your tire or rim with your rag and towel. If the buildup is significant, you should repeat step 1, but in most cases, you should be in the clear after one application. You can also use Bitu-Ox™ in a power washer for more intense messes.
Step 3: Rinse with water
